Ok as a freshman to my university, I and some friends have struggled to get our live accounts working past the firewall they always put up. So after recently discovering how (friend told me), I would like to spread the wisdom to you all.
It is simple really: You get the MAC settings from your computer, and then go on the XB360 dashboard, settings, network settings, and put the MAC key in the corresponding slot.
What I don't get is how you find the MAC address. Luckily, when we go check our bandwith, it gives us our MAC number, but if that were not the case, then how can we find it? My friend says to run the option 'ipconfig /all', and it does appear, but only like for a split second. If I was not at university, how would one be able to find the MAC number? Thx
