30 bucks more in Canada? Ouch. Anyway, I hear you can just use a wireless ethernet bridge, or even the original xbox wireless adapter if you have one.

I just bought one 2 days ago. It's friggin easy and works like a charm. I read about a bunch of hacks and other ways to do it but none of them seemed worth the hassel to me. And they all had multiple people reporting that they either didn't work, or worked like shit. So I figured instead of spending 60 on something I wasn't sure of, I'd spend 100 on something I knew would work.

Anyone know if i can connect a wireless router to my (comcast)cable modem so that my desktop can be wired and the rest be wireless? Reason im putting this question in here because im going to buy the xbox 360 wireless adapter if it will work with out having to buy a wireless card (aside from the wireless router)for the desktop.

Yes you can

I have my cable modem hooked up to my router. I then have 3 PCs connected directly to the router and my 360 downstairs running wirelessly. Pretty easy stuff.

Most, if not all, routers have multiple ethernet jacks on the back. One of which is an input, the other are outputs, that go to your desktops or laptops or whatever you want hard wired. So it's basically a wired router/bridge and a wireless router.
