i recently beat the game and in the ending sequence i either failed miserably or there is no point in even trying.
my character turned into a giant monster and then blah blah blah he got sucked into a pool of water and turned into a baby

did anyone else manage to kill all the people trying to stop him or is that what happened to everybody because the ending really unsettled me.
(limping horse and all that)

or was there different possibilities?

and whats the diff between hard mode and regular?

You can't alter the ending, but it's fun to smash the little guys isn't it.

The baby depressed me. I though Wander was saving her to get a piece of ass, but he got turned into a baby. Now she's going to turn into his mother. Fuck.

Shadow of the Colossus is the "prequel" to the PS2 title called ICO. That's a very different type of game you should try as well. The story is pretty complicated but Shadow and ICO are great games.

Yeah that's true. You can get it for dirt cheap on eBay though.
