Unlikely. There was rumour about this a few years back, but because of legal issues with Intel and nVidia it was impossible. Besides, there are little to no new games coming in 2007 for the Xbox, plus you can't even buy it new from most retailers.

Sony redid the PS2 long long before the PS3 came out, so if Microsoft was gonna redo the Xbox, they would have done it by now.
