Impossible to find a Wii

etc etc...

I have checked these places for the past 3 days and no luck finding a Wii. Another thing that sucks is the fact that none of these retailers claim to know the next shipment. How aggrivating.

Guess I will have to wait until March.

I had the same problem. Luckily, the walmart in the city right near me that i'd never think they'd have Wii's had a shipment that morning. They had 9 in by 10am, and when i got there at 12:30, they had two left.

Its all about persistance. As long as you call everyday to everystore, one of them is bound to have a Wii. And make sure you call from 10am-2pm. Those are the prime time when most stores get thier shipments. (Thats what EB Games told me).

As for Zelda...I must say...this game is absolutely amazing. Wow...just wow... the game is huge. Im only about 25% into it (11ish hours so far) but I read from reviews that this game will last anywhere from 35-45 hours long. Which is long for an adventure game.

Link IS left handed, however, the 'hero' in TP isnt the same person. If you know anything about the Zelda games usually all the 'hero's are different each time. For example, the hero in ocarina of time is different from the 'hero' in Wind Waker and TP, etc. Evil returns hundreds of years later for another hero to rise, who is chosen by the gods and adapts the same weapons and look as the previous one.

yeah you can, once you get the internet hooked up with your wii, go into the wii shop, and download the trial. it should be the only non-game in the shop right now. so it is easy to find.


its really nice too, the browser is opera and it has flash, so you can view movies [except on ebaums, it needs a newer flash than it has]. if you go to youtube.com you can view movies full screen on your tv, pretty good resolution too depending on what video you are watching.

Well, I finally got my Wii!!! Well, my girlfriends late Christmas gift to be exact. Its been definitely over a month since I signed up for one, but it came today, I was pretty excited.

I used Hollywood Video's Game Crazy to order one through. They do a "Wishlist" thing, where you fully pay for a game, and they put you on the list. Which I did mine early December, hoping to get it before Christmas. So, they may have a lot of people on the lists, I know I was number 2 out of like almost 100 people. But if you are still looking for one, maybe you'll get lucky with Game Crazy, or at least get on a waiting list.

Well I'm not 100% sure if we are going to be getting Wii's in store now, it's Saturday and I don't have Wii's in stock. I usually get them between Wednesday-Friday and sell them on Sunday. But it's also not in our ad but the Wii-mote and nunchuck are

LegendaryLink is right. Best Buy is supposed to have minimum of 20 Wii's at each of its stores Sunday, Jan. 21st. Here is a google search with all the links stating the same thing...

Update: The 21st provided 0 Wii's at 2 Targets located in my area. This was the same for the Gamestop/Ebgames and Walmarts.

Today, the 22nd, I called Gamestop and they said they have yet to recieve thier shipment today. So I went up there and waited for roughly 2 hours. UPS guy showed up...with no Wii. =(

I am beginning to think that there is no such thing as a Wii.

One morning I went to my local EB Games for Wii controllers and they said they didn't have any. The next morning I asked again and he said 'yeah we had them yesterday but they sold out'.

You just have to get lucky and be at the store at the right time. Being the first one there in the mornings doesn't guarantee anything.

Well the thing is...I am fed up with the whole calling my ass off ordeal. I have called on average 7 stores daily for the past 3 weeks trying to find a Wii. I call early, and late. I am not doing anything wrong in regards to looking for one. They just simply are coming. (or I have the WORST luck in existance) Therefore, I used Ebay.
