When I start World Of Warcraft, winamp mutes itself, what the fuck? Ive tried using windows media player too, and it wont work either. This is getting lame. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I used to have a WoW addon that let you control winamp from WoW, but i forget what it was called...sorry.

That sort of thing used to happen to me. It was because of my sound card. Does it mute itself, as in the little button on Winamp that does it, or does it just stop making sound, but it appears to still be playing?

It stops making sound and keeps "playing." I have an Audigy Soundblaster 4 I believe.

It's probably your sound card. Check to see if there are any loose connections or something of that sort. When it happened to me I just said, "Fuck this." And built a new computer. Wiggidy Whop!

P.S. - Are you watching the new Birdman episodes?

No loose connections, the sound works fine if WoW isnt on. WoW sound does work though.

It's a problem with you .cfg file...there is a sound setting you fuck with to fix it...I dunno why it changes all of a sudden, but it does. I don't remember the exact line in the .cfg to fix, so my suggestion is to call blizzard tech support, they'll fix it quick as hell.

Do you remember where the .cfg file was?
