Need Xbox live help...

Hey everyone, I need a bit of help. My friend needs some help setting up Xbox live on the 360 . Apparently he's been talking on the support line for 45 minutes and has only found out a couple things: He has a toshiba pcx2500 modem, and apparently needs to change his maximum transmission units (MTUs) . I came here because I expect some of you know how to do this, but Im not sure. If you can help out please post to help my friend out. If you want to say "ZOMG PS3 IS WAY BETTAR ZOMG!!!!1ONE!11!!" then get the fuck out.

He only has a modem? No router?


I've never had to deal with that in a modem, but it is easily fixed in a router. You just have to login to the router setup via your PC (just type in it's IP address in your browser bar) and it's in the advanced settings.
