Unreal Tournament 2004?

This forum seems most fitting. Anyone else play UT2K4?

For those of you who know what I'm talking about, I'm infatuated with Jailbreak. I never played it in UT and am new to the dynamics of it but I think it's awesome.

Shit who doesnt love a good onslaught game now and then. I play 2k4 but I still play 2k3 as well, I just cant break that habbit of playing that game. Vehicles are my friends in that game as well. I just love blowin the hell out of anyone who gets in your way. But yea, thats about it and I love the Unreal games, if you cant tell.

I bought 2K3 and immediately knew I'd wasted my money. That game just didn't have any heart in it. The characters sucked, the maps were horrid and the single player version lacked. I went back to playing UT G.O.T.Y Edition until 2K4 came out.

I kinda feel the same way about 2k3 in those areas, but I play it online a lot, and most of the people there are cool that I hang around with. Thats the only reason I play that game is for online reasons, like my custom name thing says {EBG}°Stèélêr°, thats my name for that game. And the people that I play with have designed maps that are pretty cool. But yea when 2004 came out I bought it like 2 days after it idid come out. I enjoyed that for a while, sonce single player took a lot longer to beat as well. And online games have 03 and 04 maps in them as well, so that was neat to me too.

Hey man, I play UT2K4 I just got ti recently i'm geting better at it.. I have played Q3, MOHAA, COD all of those similar type games.. As far as UT goes I love onslaught too I love all the vehicles and stuff... I like CTF too but my favorite is Bombing Run, those are great fun.. We should play somtime..

Just got ut2k4, and it owns all. I absolutly love that game. Onslaught is the best, fav's are the Raptor and the big ass tank (funnier than hell to blow up soldiers with that gun on it)

Heh, thanks anyways man. It sucks I have a nice new comp (1.8ghz) but it came with the shittiest video card. Ah well, hey are video cards basically compatible with any computer? Because I'm using an Nvidia, wondering if I should just buy a newer Nvidia.

i dont really like the newer games because they dont really seem like unreal - just another new shooting game

UT2k4 is really the only multiplayer game I play now. My schedule's busy enough as it is, I wouldn't have time for more than one real game. (Though I'll be racing to get Doom 3 as soon as it fucking comes out- been waiting for years now) I played the 2k3 demo for over a year and finally got the 2k4.

I am a demigod in ut2k3, but it's been tough getting used to the differences in 2k4, plus my computer is being pushed to its limits with it now. (map load time takes upwards of 5 mins...)

Favorite part of ONS has to be cruisin' in the Levy, fuckin' shit up. One driver...4-man turrets. 5,000 hit points. Automatic homing projectiles. Can't fuck with it. :cool:
