I know the Cardinals have a "curse" but I'm really hoping former Steeler's offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt will be able to help break it (along with a reasonably talented team).
What do you guys think, my team going to do any better next year?

they need an offensive line, so if they spend their first couple of picks on that, they should be in decent shape

Local pittsburgh paper says they're planning to hire Grim as HC. Hope they pick him over Tomlin, it would pretty much shit on Mort's and espn's little credibility they have.
Giants are looking for a D-coordinator and a qb coach.
QB coach possiblities are Jason Garret and David Cutliffe. I'd prefer Cutliffe over Garret though. Garret's did a good job this year with that shitty qb Harrington though. Cutliffe worked with Eli at Ole Miss and Eli was excellent working with him. I've also heard that Eli works with Cutliffe during offseason so that's one of the reasons why he does so well at the beginning of the year...and then falls towards the end.
D Coordinator possiblities are Pepper Johnson, Rob Ryan, Jerry Gray, and then some. If the Pats win then you can scratch Pepper off that list. He's been d-line and LB coach with the patriots and they've excelled there. Pepper also was a great LB with the Giants back in the day. Rob Ryan is...a dream. The fact that the Raiders are looking for a HC instead of upgrading Rob Ryan is kind of a slap to the face as he's done so well with so little. If Rob Ryan does a good job with the Giants defense and the Giants fail to do well next year Coughlin would be fired and Rob might get promoted. So any opportunistic coaches would want this job. Especially with the talent we have.

Dream on. The reason Ryan was looked at for HC right away was because we are obviously in dire need of an offensive based coach. Why take ryan away from the defense he completely transformed into a top 3? Now that al davis scared the 2 candidates that I was actually excited about away, I'm sure ryan will be given his shot. He sure as hell isnt ending up in new york.

Steve Spagnuolo is announced new d-coordinator of the Giants. He's LB coach for the Eagles and has done a good job there. If any of Jim Johnson rubbed off onto him than it'd be a great hire.

Steelers hire Tomlin...can't say I'm glad or mad because truthfully I don't know much about the guy. I know he has that "play football tough" mentality, and from what I know he prefers the 4-3, which I'm very glad about.
I don't know, we'll see what happens.
Wiz should do good with the Cards. Their line isn't as bad as people think. The games I've seen the Cardinals the pass protection was fabulous, run blocking was god awful though, Wiz can fix that. They have a good draft pick, I can easily see the Cards going .500.

It's a coach killer down there though. I'll root for them to do well. Won't go out of my way to watch their games though.

Wiz can help Leinart a lot, it'll be an offense worth watching, defense maybe not so much.

Lane Kiffin will be formally introduced as Head Coach of The Oakland Raiders during a press conference on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Raiders' facility in Alameda. With his appointment today by Raiders owner Al Davis, Kiffin becomes the 16th head coach in franchise history and the youngest head coach in the NFL. The 31-year old Kiffin is also the youngest Head Coach in Raider history. Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach John Madden was 32 when he was elevated to the head post by Davis in 1969. Most recently, Kiffin presided over the vaunted offensive attack at the University of Southern California that a featured long, medium and short-range passing game coupled with a power running attack. His tutoring helped the Trojans capture back-to-back National College Football Championships in 2003 and 2004.
Kind of excited causes hes an up and coming guy, a young nobody that wants to prove himself(gruden) rather than an old, failure retread. This coming season couldnt possibly be as bad as the last one, so theres only up from here I guess. Silverandblack in 08!
