Ok, so some of you had the Bears and Colts going, others were way off. So lets see who get closest on the Bears/Colts matchup.

Well I did think today Colts/Pats game was the Super Bowl too. But I now =think the Bears are for real and can take them though. I mean I first thought they would lose right in their first game. But they are playing tough on defense.

I need to vent on the half time preformer. Seriously this Super Bowl halftime show will suck. Prince at half time show fuck that. But we all know half time shows will never be the same again.

Yeah Ive ben saying that all week as well. The Saints are pretty good, but if they were in the AFC this year they wouldnt have made the playoffs. It was a golden opportunity for them to make it to the Super Bowl though with the way the NFC played this year.

I'd say the bears will win because generaly the colts D lets up a lot of points but the Bears rarely concede more than 20 points. A lot of this depends on whether Grossman decides to lose the game or not.

Bears will take it. It will be a lower scoring game, unless Grossman is on fire and Manning does his usual thing.

Bears defense is a machine though, should be interesting.

21 - 10 for the bears is my guess.

Hopefully ol' #20 Jones has a HUGE running day.

Colts Offense vs. Bears Defense
Bears Offense vs. Colts Defense
Special Teams.

Honestly, I give a push in all three. So I dont know who will win, but I give the slightest of margins to the colts, even though I'll be pulling for the Bears.

Well, the Bears have the best deffence in the league and will make it hard as hell for manning. But it is Manning...so I think the colts will score about 20 points or so.

The key to this game for me is what happens when the Bears have the ball. The Bears offence depends on Rex Grossman who is probably the most inconsistent player I have ever seen. When Rex Grossman has a bad day the Bears have had to rely on thier deffence to get them points but this time I can't see them creating many turnovers because its manning. However, the Colts have a terrible run deffence and Thomas Jones is a pretty good runner if Rex can get a passing game going so its not all on Jones's shoulders.

Have you been watching the playoffs? Manning has turned the ball over many times this season in the playoffs. And coming into this game you could make an arguement that the colts defense is playing better then the bears.

Bears have an amazing defense, but their offense lacks. If they can get the turnovers however they would win. But honestly, after the AFC game, I'd have to go with the Colts. I got my money on Manning finally doing what he does best. 34-17 Colts.

This is our year. The Bears are destined to win it. Look at the Seattle game. We lost both coin tosses and won it. What are the odds of that.

LOL I really find that funny. What are the odds of the Colts run dfence showing up to beat pro-bowler Larry Johnson? What were the odds of the Colts going INTO Baltimore to beat one of the best defences around AND shuting down Mcnair? What were the chances of the Colts closing an 18 point deficit and score 32 points in the second half to beat the fucking Pats? Nobody had the Colts going to the Superbowl... you either had the Chargers or the Pats. If anyone is "destined" to win the Superbowl, its the Colts.

The game is very simple. Whoever wins up front will win the game. If Manning gets time in the pocket to throw he will put up numbers, and if the Bears D-line penetrates then Manning will get pressure and he WILL make mistakes. Same goes for Addai and the run game.

On the other side of the ball, The Colts D-line penetrates and is able to stop the run then we will force Grossman to win the game... when has Grossman EVER won a game let alone the Superbowl and against a pretty good pass rushing front line. If the Bears O-line is able to push and shove the Colts around then the Bears are gonna have a "jacksonville" kind of game on the Colts.

Special Teams for the Colts has been pretty bad about tackling on the Kickoffs lately and the Bears do have Devin Hester, but if the game comes down to a game winning field goal by Vinatieri.. well you know how it goes.

Just like how the 2005 Steelers had luck going their direction, and being able to win some improbable games, the Colts have done that much this year and especially in the playoffs.

I'm torn. As much as I would like to see Peyton win a ring (look at Marino, he only got to the Super Bowl once, I wouldn't want that to happen again), part of me wants Rex Grossman to have a career game and silence all of his critics. Vindication would be pretty sweet.

Nah, he's got great potential. He has good games and he has bad, but you have to remember, this is his first season as the starter. His Career has been plagued by injuries up to this point, so he hasnt gotten a bunch of reps.

The Bears have a higher PPG than the Colts the last time I checked.....and they have a very good offense when Grossman plays good.

Hook em Horns!!!

Rex Grossman is bad and it would sicken me to see his sorry ass get a Super Bowl Ring before Peyton Manning, and what good is potential if you dont live up to it. For all you Cubs fans out there, Rex Grossman is the Football version of Corey Patterson. he has all the "potential" but hes not good enough. The Bears are only in the Super Bowl because A) The NFC sucks ass and B) the defence scores all the points for them.

You must be stupid to pick Grossman over Manning, either that or your a Bears fan. Manning really likes to study the game, so he already knows where he can attack the Bears D. Also, he doesnt make many mistakes unlike Grossman who is all about " OMG IM GOING TO BE SACKED!! I better throw the ball into the middle of the field!"

I expect to see Harrison and Wayne explot the only weakness in the Bears D... their safetys. If the Bears do manage to keep the Colts Offence to a minimum amount of points then they did their job, to bad you cant win the game without scoring point. The Colts only have to stop the run enough to force Grossman to win the game for the Bears, then I expect Freeney to eat him alive.

Go Colts!!

This game will come down to turnovers. The Bears will need to force 3 to win the game and commit at the most 1. They have been so good capitalizing on other teams mistakes all year and I don't see that changing here.

Peyton has thrown 6 postseason INT's this year compared to just 1 by Grossman. Ron Turner has done an exceptional job making sure the game is not won or lost with Grossman; he has instilled a lot of confidence in Rex with great play calling.

Peyton will play well but special teams and defense wins this one in the end (2-3 TD's on Defense and/or Special Teams)!

36-31 Bears pull off the upset!!

Colts win easily. Manning throws for 340 yards and 4 touchdowns, 2 to Wayne, 1 to Harrison and 1 to Addai. Vinatieri kicks 3 FG's, Rex Grossman throws three picks and is sacked 5 times while the Colts defense holds Thomas Jones to under 100 yards. Colts 37, Bears 17

I say the 2nd one is more accurate because theres no way in hell the bears will score 36 points on a pretty good defense by throwing hitches and running the ball all game. I think peyton will play like he usually does in the playoffs, bad, with a pic or 2, but they will still score 27 points. Colts, unlike the saints, will actually stop the run and put the ball in grossmans hands and he will choke, final score 27-17

I love how no one gives credit to Rex Grossman.

The kid had 7 games with a passer rating of 100 or higher this year, which coincidentally is the same number that Peyton had. Grossman had 15 wins en route to the Super Bowl, same number as Peyton.

Now by no means do I think Rex is better than Peyton, that's silly, but this is his 1st full year as a starter and he turned out to be pretty good (a little inconsistent), but overall pretty good.

I find it hard to believe that a team (Indy) who was last in the league in rush defense will hold Jones under 100 yards, especially watching the way his O-Line blocked last game. Sure Indy's defense has been playing better, but by no means have they made any drastic improvements.

Holding LJ down was no big surprise the way KC's line looked and the way they play called that game (Run, Run, Pass, Punt). Same goes for the Baltimore game (Lewis did average more than 4.1 a carry though), and NE abandoned the run, but Brady did torch the secondary for 3 quarters of football.

This is a perfect spot for Grossman and Jones to steal the spotlight, where no one expects them to play well, so watch out.

They may not score 36 pts, but this game will be close and come down to turnovers, that' why the edge has to be with Da Bears!!

If anyone is going to choke it will be Manning. He has everything to lose in this game; his reputation as a playoff quarterback may be determined in this game and he knows that.

ok...now I'm guessing that you haven't paid attention to any of the Colts game this post season. The Chiefs were one of the most dominant running teams in the NFL and they couldn't run on the Colts. The Colts have picked it up so they get the credit, they're not as shitty as they were against Jacksonville or other teams like that this year. this rain is making it a comedy of errors.
the ball is as slippery as a bar of soap.

I hear Prince is doing the half time show.
no doubt he will be singing "purple rain".

^Those weren't even his own songs. I like those songs when the original bands play them

Anyways, Da Bears would be good if Grossman didn't suck balls

Thomas Jones has been playing great, even Orton could be doing better than Grossman. Oh well, the game is done...

What the fuck is wrong with the Bears? Seriously, they're letting 3 & 8's become first downs. Why the fuck aren't they controlling that?

And holy fuck Grossman. Jesus what the fuck is he doing. He throws long ass passes on 1st & 10 with 2 interceptions each time. What is he thinking?! You don't need long ass passes. The Colts have like 20+ first downs.

Prince sucks. He sang a Foo Fighters song... They don't want to if having two preformers incase their is another nip slip.

This game is looking like the Rose Bowl. TD of the first kick of the game then the other team came back and won. Not saying Indy is gonig to win, just reminds me of the Rose Bowl because of that.

You heard it here first:

Bears and Michael Vick: Superbowl XLll Champs!!!!

Meanwhile Grossman opens up a car dealership in North Dakota!

Edit: And Prince sucked horribly. It seemed like his guitar was magically playing even when his arm was midair after an intense strum.

I'm pissed at Vinatieri because when he missed that 30 yard field. I would of had the Colts 9 on squares. I already had the Bears number. And worse of all the same guy already won the first quarter and because of that he won the second. Prize was $500 a quarter.

I thought Prince was great. And I don't usualy like him. Very impressive song selection, great showmanship and amazing sound quality even in the rain.

The game was pretty much as I called it. Grossman had a bad game so the bears lost.

May i piss in your mouth?

Also, i had 7-4 with the squares and the colts fucking up the PAT totally fucked me up.. or so i thought. Luckily, or not so luckily, my scores were reversed, but i bet a lot of people lost/made money by having that PAT fucked
