I just thought it'd be cool to have a thread where we pass around our Jeopardy-quality Sports Trivia questions.

If you answer the question correctly, post another one.

Well since you just joined the whole cincinnati bandwagon thing nobody expects you to know it, becuase you have only been following cincinnati sports for about 2 years now.

NHL

This is the point in your post where everybody stopped caring.

As far as the back to back no hitters, I was going to guess Nolan Ryan, but I know thats not right. It's too recent. It had to be like 60 years ago or more, and I'm pretty sure its not a really famous pitcher, either.

You're right, I'm a Bengals fan, that must mean I'm a bandwagoner because every fan of every good sports team is a bandwagoner. How could I forget. Now go jump off the Patriots bandwagon or whatever gay team you bandwagon. Faggot Bandwagoner.

The correct answer is Johhny Vander Meer who pitched back to back no hitters in 1938. Devern Hansack has a chance to do it next year because he pitched a no-hitter on the last day of the season.

Who has the most losses of all-time for a pitcher in MLB history?

Well for one him living in ohio dosnt make it a good reason to like them. I LIVE in ohio also, and i live in a major city that does not have an NFL team and is in almost the exact middle of the two NFL teams here, so my view on the two ohio teams is unbiased. The bengals only rank third among NFL teams in ohio. The browns being the most popular, then the steelers, and the bengals, and quite a few titan and colts fans. Only two years ago you would never see a single cinncinati jersey ever, you would never catch anyone wearing an akili smith, or jon kitna jersey. They had one single winning season and they came they all came out of the closet, they busted out their jerseys from 1990 and acted as if they have been fans all along. These people are not real fans, their team went 14 straight years without a winning season, and they all go and hide in the closet until they actually win more games then they lose, and show their support now, but not when they are loosing. They are a disgrace to football, and are the epitome of a bandwagon.

and how does having a picture of tom brady make me like new england?

Oh haha thats a cute paragraph you wrote. So you're saying if any other team in the NFL had 14 straight non-winning seasons all of their fans would be out in full force for all those years? I don't think so..... that's sports for you whether you want to admit it or not and it's the same for every team.

Sweet statistics you pulled out of your ass there with the Bengals being the 3rd favored NFL team in Ohio....

Call it being the epitome of a bandwagon if you must..... but YOU SIR have no rights saying that I'm not a "true" Bengals fan. Nor could you ever prove that. So until then you can stop being a troll on every thread that I post in(sports section or not) and turn it into a "let's hate on the bengals thread". You bring absolutely nothing to the table when you post here.

and how does having a picture of tom brady make me like new england?

Oh, and excuse me for wrongly assuming this. You see, there is a NFL team in Boston, the Patriots. And Tom Brady happens to be the quarterback of that team. That must just be my bad.....

I disagree with your stance on Bandwagon fans.

Im a big Gator fan. I own two gator football jerseys. I wear one on gameday, and if they win, I wear the other then next day of class to bask in reflected glory. When they dont win, It makes me unhappy with them, and I do not wear their jersey until they win again or make me proud to be a fan again.

The Bengals did nothing but lose for 14 years. Their fans had nothing to be proud of. So instead of celebrating their team by wearing their jerseys, they didnt celebrate their team because there was nothing to celebrate. Now that the Bengals are good, they can celebrate their team.

and how does having a picture of tom brady make me like new england?

Well, if you like Tom Brady, then you like New England. It doesnt make sense to say "Yeah, Tom Brady's awesome, but I fucking hate New England." If you root for Brady, you root for NE.

If you dont like NE, get a picture of Brady when he was at Michigan (Oh wait, your from Ohio...Why do you like Brady again?)

How many points did Kentucky score in that record-setting half (first half, btw)?

It's not Lemieux or Gretzky. Lemieux was a rookie just before 1986, I believe 1984 and Gretzky was long before that.
