I made a Zappa thread a while ago. I just wanted some new people to see what songs they liked by zappa. My favorites are always changing. So just list a few songs you like.
I Promise Not to Come in Your Mouth
Blessed Relief
Waka Jawaka
Zoot Allures
Alien Orifice
Andy
Inca Roads
Son Of Mr Green Genes
Montana
Revised Music for Guitar and Low-Budget Orchestra
Black Napkins

From the small amount of his stuff that I've heard its been great. I can't find a good sized download though so I haven't really got very much of his stuff. Hook me up with a link if you find a good torrent with quite a few albums in it.

Mr. Green Genes is great.
The King Kong tracks are a favorite too,
all time would probably be Peaches en Regalia though....so timeless and mint.

I fucking love Zappa. My friend's uncle has every Zappa album and burned him a few data discs full of numerous Zappa albums that he let me put on my computer. In total I have around 30 of the millions of albums and they all are amazing.
Some of my favorite songs are (in no particular order):
Titties N' Beer
Zomby Woof
Village Of The Sun
Echinda's Arf (Of You)
Pygmy Twylyte
Inca Roads
Punky's Whips
Dumb All Over
Drowning Witch
Broken Hearts Are For Assholes
Baby Snakes
Packard Goose
Actually, every song is pretty much a favorite. Zappa was so damn brilliant.

Jazz From Hell is one of the best albums ever made IMO, but good luck finding it. G-Spot Tornado is my favorite Zappa song.

What albums should I listen to?
To start I'd say Hot Rats, Sheik Yerbouti, Over-Nite Sensation, and/or One Size Fits All. If you really like Zappa then get some live albums like You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore, The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life, or (my personal favorite) Roxy & Elsewhere.
But really Zappa has a million albums and ever one is brilliant so you really can't go wrong with any of them.

I've been wanting Jazz From Hell for a while now but I've got Yellow Shark and that's amazing. I love how he did so many genres, it's impossible to classify him into one genre other than "Zappa"
Edit: Echinda's Arf (Of You) is one of the best instrumentals (excluding the "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Village" in the begining) ever, I fucking love it.

Zappa is the shit. My friend's dad had 2 copies of Joe's Garage on vinyl and he sold me one for 3 dollars. It's on my wall.
Also, I picked up his "Does Humor Belong In Music?" DVD. It's fucking awesome. They are interviewing him outside and some random older lady walks by and shows her tits. Funny shit.
Also, the guy who does the really high-pitched vocals is fucking amazing.
HE'S SO GAY!

Hahahaha, I've seen that. That movie is the shit. Have you seen Baby Snakes? That's sweet too but the claymation part is messed up.
That guy is the man. What the hell is his name though? I can't think of it and it's really pissing me off, I know it...
