This is Spinal Tap
Tells you everything you'll ever need to know about rock n roll, and is the only film which goes to eleven.

I enjoyed "The year punk broke" (about sonic youth and nirvana) and "Meeting people is easy" (about radiohead) I prefer documentary, non-linear films. Not dissin' the wall or woodstock, or spinal tap... love me the spinal tap.

Amen. 'We All Die Young' is an awesome song. It's thanks to this movie I found out about Steelheart.
As anyone who follows heavy metal (or reads previews) knows, "Rock Star" is loosely based on the true story of salesman-turned-heavy-metal-frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens, who was tapped to fill in as lead singer for Judas Priest when Rob Halford left the band. However, the similarities end there - when Judas Priest pressed for increased creative control over the project, the producers opted to distance themselves from the band and change the story and the exploits of "Steel Dragon" are a composite of several apocryphal rock legends.
just thoughtt i would let you know in case you didnt know

I was just watching WW2 yesterday, I forgot how awesome that movie is (the first one too). Airheads was good too, if only for Adam Sandler (WITH MY DIICCKK!!!)
