video maybe from an employee on a camera phone of the alpha in multiplayer, beware it's crap quality and blurry, but it shows the new brute (SMG-Like) weapons being dual wielded, the battle rifle, the assault rifle, the sniper rifle, some huge lazer gun, and my personal favorite, the halo 1 pistol is now definately back, though it isn't shown zooming so who knows if that's been axed.

Hopefully they toned it down just a tiny bit (Pistol) but i don't mean Halo 2 toned down, just not the weapon of mass destruction that they had in Halo Combat Evolved.

I highly doubt it will be as strong as the Halo 1 pistol, but I have my hopes.

It would be stupid to bring the pistol back like in the first game. That shit was way too good.

Sounds like it won't be worthless like in H2, but not as good as H1. I'm just glad they nerfed the stupid fucking battle rifle. Pulse firing is stupid.

a good comprimise would be the halo 1 pc pistol strength. plus there should be a live compatible ver of halo 1 included , just because.......

That would be pretty sweet. Wouldn't be that hard, if XBC can make it work, bungie should be able to do it during their lunch break.

I thought those Brute Pistols were meant to be alot more powerful than the Battle Rifle? They have around double the fire rate aswell. They're going to hurt.
