Chris Creamer's Sports logos (sportslogos.net)
For those of us who are fans of teams who made disappointing logo changes, or just love those vintage logos of days gone by, this is a great place to reminisce.
I found this site, because I remembered in my youth I had a basketball that my old man purchased for me from Hardees which had the logos of all 12 SEC schools.
I loved that ball because of that, and I realized I missed all the logos from that era, yes, even fucking Tennessee's.
So, without further ado, the best logos of the SEC, circa 1993: Alabama (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=7285), Auburn (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2420), Arkansas (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=7305), Florida (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=r7e2q09sw3hdlvfbetu3), Georgia (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2489), Kentucky (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2510), Louisiana State (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2513), Mississippi (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2564), Mississippi State (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2849), South Carolina (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2620), Tennessee (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=2650), and Vanderbilt (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=c9hxeol1zqqphihdh0oy).
The site also has some of what I consider the greatest logos of all time, including:
Kentucky's growling Wildcat head on top of state outline (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=wm8hrpvhcen5womtwsc9)
The old Atlanta Hawks (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=5665)
Oregon State (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=5048)
Florida of the 1980's (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=9ru6ujcdibakxn9gfege)
And of course, the greatest logo of all time (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=5318).
Search the site and feel the nostalgia.
