Question about Zelda TP on the Wii

Ok I've never really been into these games. I did like MM and OoT from what I played and I'd like a good single player game for the Wii. Before I buy/rent it I'd like to know a few things


How hard is it?
Will it take forever to beat?
I get pissed off when I can't pass a castle in Mario, how bad is this.


Since my girlfriend works at a video store I might be better off renting but I just wanted your opinions

The temples without a walk through are hard. Well the later ones. The first few aren't bad. The bosses are easy. It takes about 40-50 hours.

I think it's worth a buy because it took me about a month to beat it, and for the casual gamer it might take 2 or 3 rents, and therefore a waste of money. Since you can rent it for free I'd say rent it, but you'll probably see it's worth buying because doing many or all of the side quests and beating the game can last as much as a 100 hours. Well worth the money imo. Plus it's just so dam fun.

I'll just rent i then because I might not like it that much and since I have n Zelda experiance it'll take me forever. I'd like 2 Wii Point cards but they're pretty hard to find still.

I love the fact that Zelda games are long. It just lengthens the awesome pleasure it brings when playing it.

40-50 hours? It took me 20. And the game sucks. Some people seem to like it for some reason unbeknown to me, so I would recommend a rent to see if you like it.

I was kinda bummed that the game was so short when it claimed it was longer than OOT. Theres a lot of sidequest stuff but its pretty much pointless. Aside from that its a good game though. Great graphics, music, and storyline.

This game is def worth the buy. it will take long to beat though. Im an average gamer and ive had it since launch and im still not through with it. The bosses are easy and some of the temples/dungeons can get a little tough but its nothing you cant solve within 10mins if your stuck in some part until you realize "oooh thats what i have to do" You will not be dissapointed by this game if you loved MM or OoT. ^_!~

I'm going to have to wait to get it since my paycheck was shit. Sucks ass getting hours cut back. I'll definatley have it soon. Only thing I could afford was a Resident Evil 4 figure

If you just hammer through all the castles without actually exploring the huge world and doing all the sidequests and whatnot, then yeah it probably sucks. Zelda has never been to be a straight up dungeon-after-dungeon type game, it's meant to immerse you in a detailed world with a bunch of secrets to discover and side quests to complete.


You might want to rent it first to see if you like it. But keep in mind that it takes a bit for the game to pick up and the plot to get into motion. A few hours, even, depending on how long it takes you to figure out the tasks in the villiage at the beginning.

Im a huge a zelda fan, if you liked those two games, im gonna say you should get this one, i dont think its as good as ocarina, but it is a zelda game nonetheless, i loved the length of this game it semed perfect, its a lil on the easy side, and its a little light on the sidequest, but aside from that its an excellent game

You're full of shit. You will never beat TP in 20 hours you're first go at it. You would really have to have played it quite a bit and know exactly the essentials to be able to get even close to finishing it in that time.

If you beaten OOT and MM and WW then you will have no problem, the puzzles are about the same, and the game can last you about 40-70 hours.

Well, I'd like to call bullshit on this... you probably just used a walkthrough and just beat the game without doing any of the side missions.... I love this game... the actual gameplay is lot easier that the 64 games but the wii controls are awesome... the temples are alittle tough but what LoZ temples aren't.. I think you'd like it... i guess rent it, afterwards you'll buy it
