Why do my units keep dying?

Also, what's the best thing to get a lot of, wizards, archers, or craftsmen?

as far as i can remember, you don't get any 'units' for that game... all you get is an empty castle

You need to have enough points for your upkeep, every archer you got: -20pt
Wizards: -20p Craftsmen: -5pts, if you dont have enough points for your upkeep, thats why theyre dieing, you dont have enough points to upkeep them...
