Buying a used gamecube for $40

What do you guys think? My gamecube broke and has a DRE, and it cost $80CAD to repair it. Do you think $40 is a good deal buying it off a guy I know? I'm trying to persua (someone tell me how to spell this) him to sell it to me for $35, but he said $40 final offer.

Anyway $40 aint bad, espically if you still played it lots before your gamecube broke. Try and see if he'll toss in a game, so game and gc $45.

Well, I guess I could still negociate with him, but all I want is a gamecube to play The Twilight Princess. I bought it and turns out my gamecube is broke, so I needed a new one.

if your gamecube is broke now is the perfect opportunity to rip it apart for spares that's what I did for my old black xbox when I fried it and took the samsung drive out and put it in my crystal xbox which had a crappy philips drive
