Led Zeppelin: I and Presence.
Those are actually some of the most bland albums I've ever heard, and Led Zeppelin are responsible for some very good music.
Metallica: Kill 'Em All
I'd actually rather listen to St. Anger than this.
Black Flag: Nervous Breakdown, Jealous Again, Six Pack.
I think that all the 'early' and 'true' Black Flag era gets way too much credit. The weird jazz-metal era is Black Flag's best period yet, as far as I'm concerned.
Nirvana: In Utero
A perfect reflection of how Kurt and Co. were doing at the time: Horrible.
NOFX: Punk In Drublic
This gets too much credit in my opinion as a 'punk classic'.
That's all for now.

Led Zeppelin I bland? You've gotta be crazy. That album is amazing.
Also I agree with you Mount_Happy. Californication is overrated. RHCP funk>>>RHCP rock

Mötley Crüe-Dr.Feelgood(apart from Kickstart my Heart I think this album is mediocre)
Marilyn Manson-Antichrist Superstar(this a pretty dull and soulless album compared to rest of his work)

Blut aus Nord - The Work Which Transforms God I guess it's not so bad, but Ultima Thulee shits all over it. This was also the beginning of the end for this brilliant ambient/black metal band, because this is where they adopted a more mysterious industrial element that would eventually lead to the crapfest that is MoRT.
Metallica - Master of Puppets I wrote a bunch of shit about why I hated this album in another topic but I don't feel like doing it again. In short, I think this is where Metallica started to suck, not AJFA or the Black Album. It lacks the punch of Kill 'Em All and the sort of... sophisticated characteristic present on Ride The Lighting. Boring wiffle ball shit, aside from maybe two songs.

Musically it's very similar to The Mythical Beast of Rebellion, and I personally find the ambient sections uninteresting. The keyboard intro -> cascading black metal take on Ultima Thulee is much more in my alley. Where a band like Burzum or Graveland are lauded for all/most of their work, Blut aus Nord is praised for one release in particular when pretty much everything they released is just as good, if not better. That seems to happen a lot, though, I guess I'm just a bitter cunt. :D

So, so wrong. Anyone who doesn't get this album doesn't get Nirvana.

I think you've all made it clear enough that you think I don't know music for shit, no need to constantly make a fuss about it on the same bloody page.

Obviously its your opinion. My comment about not getting Nirvana is something a lot of people find. After Nevermind which was a super commercial, big studio production album they release this album recorded by Steve Albini the master of raw production. Its only natural they would alienate fans.
Kurt himself said he had a sound in his head from the start and they finally achieved it with In Utero.

The Wall
Incredibly boring album with very few good moments. I don't get why people like this. It's like they force themselves to listen to it, train themselves to like it. I really don't get how a band as good as Pink Floyd could create something this blasphemous.

I'd definitely agree with you on that. People think its so great because they hear "Another Brick in the Wall" on the radio. Wish You Were Here >>> The Wall.

I actually prefer alot of the other songs on that album such as 'Mother', 'Young Lust' and 'In The Flesh'.

Yeah I'm not saying its all bad, its just that many people praise that album solely for "Another Brick in the Wall".

Those people arent real Pink Floyd fans...
Personally i like The Wall because the entire thing outlining the story and mental breakdowns of Syd Barrett, and "Young Lust" is a sweet song.

Another Brick In the Wall is one of the lamest Pink Floyd songs I've ever heard in my opinion. I'm serious. Pink Floyd are a great band (though I definitely don't think The Wall is the best), but I actually kind of thought it was a joke when I first got to know it.

Radiohead: OK Computer
Not really that bad, but after a while it gets VERY old. I can't even listen to it anymore. Even Pablo Honey was more listenable than this, although personally I think The Bends was their best album.
Tool: Aenima
A few good songs (Aenema, Third Eye, etc.) but way too much filler, even for Tool.

I truly believe that "Clampdown" is the best track on London Calling, but yeah, I can understand why you've chosen it.
For me, it would be Rush's "Roll the Bones" album.
There are about 3 decent tracks on the album, but the rest isn't really up to Rush's usual high standard.

i love you, i think the same way, going from great albums like "from here to infirmary" to "crimson" was just not my bag of tea.

I thought the new Tool album 10,000 days was horrible compared to some of there other work. It takes two minutes of silence for most of the songs to actually begin. WTF! :banghead:
