I like Slipknot's music, but what they have become is like a joke. One of their most well known songs is the Heretic Anthem ("If you're 555 I'm 666") which is supposed to be a song against the industry. But they're one of the biggest figures in the industry, if not the biggest. I've never seen someone say "I won't sell-out" and sell out while they say it, until Slipknot.

Also because of them every masked band in the world is going to be accused of copying them, even if they wore masks before Slipknot was even formed (Mushroomhead, Mr. Bungle...)

I try not to bag too hard on music, but Slipknot reminds me of Nascar, Backyard Wrestling, and Waffle House.

I've always been a fan of Slipknot also other music. I'm not a typical fan of theirs. I have a very broad music library and I take pride in that. Now if you get your kicks from flaming people on a web forum then oh well, thats your life not mine. I won't dis on you because of it. As for me, Slipknot is one of my favorite bands and will continue to do so as long as they make good music. Good music in my opinion isn't about appearance or anything like that, I could care less if they wore masks or not, I would still like the music.

I liked those videos, yet i still like Slipknot. I don't care what you listen to, be it emo, Christian rock, death metal, I don't care. People can listen to whatever music they want. I choose Slipknot, you may choose Rammstein or System of a Down..whatever. :) (Even though I like both of those too :X)
