but you cant just change the icon with mozilla, it doesnt have properties on it.

Are you trying the change the icon for the .exe file or a shortcut?

i want to make the shortcut on my desktop invisible so i dont have anything blocking my beautiful picture of Sunion.

Right click on desktop, go to "Arrange Icons By", then uncheck "Show Desktop Icons".
Unless you actually want to be able to click it..then I don't know.

OK,
Rightclick the icon, go to Properties, Shortcut Tab, Change Icon,
Where it says look for icons in this file...
Change that to
%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
Then go over about 1-2 pages and use the "blank" icon there. ♥

but that doesnt work because mozilla doesnt have the Properties option.

Everything has a Properties menu in Windows XP!
"Mozilla" is only the name of a company.
I assume you're talking about Firefox.
How about, rightclick the icon, printscreen what you screen looks like, and we'll see why you don't have a properties option.
