Day Watch (The Night Watch Sequel)

so, Fox Searchlight is finally releasing this movie (to limited cities) on June 1st. i personally loved Night Watch and i'm definately excited to finally see Day Watch. here's the trailer for the US release:

I heard about this. I think it's been out for a long time in Russian. So far I've not heard good things about it. Can't decide myself, since I don't exactly understand Russian. Apparently, Night Watch is the better of the two.

so far, it seems that with Night Watch people either loved it or hated it. while upon first viewing it does seem a bit confusing so a second or third viewing is necessary. i have a copy of Day Watch but i refuse to watch it because i want to see it on the big screen like i did with Night Watch. the few people who have viewed my copy of Day Watch said its incredible and way better than the first one visually and story wise.

i hope Fox Searchlight continues to use the awesome animated subtitles that were used in Night Watch.

I can not wait to see this. Wanted to get a Russian copy as apparently there were some around with subtitles, but heard too many stories about dodgy copies.

Hope this comes over to the UK this summer also.
