o come on now, drop the fanboyism, DMC was exclusive to PS2 and was a system seller and many many sony people had pointed to DMC4 as one of it's big name exclusives, well fuck not anymore.

and it's also this isn't a delayed release. The fact that so many games have been touted as PS3 exclusive, but were developed for 360 the entire time is alarming. Assassin's creed, mercenaries 2, DMC4 and virtua fighter 4.

All of the games that were exclusive to the PS3 (the real incentive to buy a system), are becoming available on other systems. Therefore, people have fewer and fewer reasons to buy Playstations. The PS3 and the 360 are similar machines in terms of power, or at least this is what the majority of gamers think, so they'll go to wherever the games are. If this trend keeps on like it is, Sony is eventually going to be feeling it big-time.

These were all PS3 Exclusives. Now they're either 360 Exlusives or Multi-Platform with the 360. Nobody said that this was a scandal or like cheating, we're all relieved we still don't have to pay for a PS3. The reason the PS3 isn't selling well is because of all the Sony hate and the fact it has no games. Sony has hardly launched? It's been out for half a year, a Launch Window is what, 3-4 Months. The console is not a baby anymore, it needs to get competitive and so far it's lost nearly every reason to own one, which are exclusive games. The big hitters are all going Multi-Platform and it now has what? Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid and Killzone? Sony are in a crisis because it's roster is hardly exclusive and 360ers are rejoicing because we get not only our great exclusives but a very large portion of what was once the PS3's, thus even more enjoyment because we can stay Single Consoled/Wii60 for alot longer, saving money in an already expensive pass time.

So we've got an awesome year backlog of great exclusive games to play, aswell as arcade games and the rest of the amazing 360 games to look forward to...Not forgetting the great PS3 games we'll be playing on our 360's aswell. You just have fun waiting 3 days for that PS3 Launch...And an even longer wait for those, for what's left, PS3 Exclusives.

Most of those other titles where never official exclusive eather.

It's funny how most of these games where designed for all platforms form the ground up, yet only Sony where the ones that mentioned it would be on the Playstation 3.

It shows a little bit more commitment and involvment on Sony's part there.

I love my PS3 and hopefully Sony can weather their mistakes and continue to build slowly towards a significant gaming community. I dont worry much about console wars as there is plenty of room for three systems.

I think you guyz are missing the point here. Sony spent so much time on the hardware of the PS3, that they had no time left over for games. And who needs games anyway? The PS3 was designed for things like curing cancer and an expensive $600 3D chat room(which has been on PCs since the late 90s). This is the 21st century, and by now, we're all adults, and Sony probably thinks it's time to take the 'play' out of 'playstation'. It's just a station... that takes up space... kind of like a space station. Sony is trying to explore space and cure cancer here, and all you guyz care about is video games.

Very true, I was just trying to head off the inevitable argument between those two people. Good news for 360 owners who like DMC and contrary to popular belief it really doesn't hurt the PS3. Those that want a PS3 probably want it for more than just DMC.

Tell that to their Exclusives. If Sony keep losing their Exclusives like this, especially major ones like Assassins Creed or DMC4 it will play a large effect. I don't think a Console has ever lost this many Exclusives in one year in Gaming history.

Not to mention Microsoft Germany publicly stated he was happy after talks with Capcom, gaining DMC and said his next objective's were MGS4 and FFXIII. Then there's rumours of MS buying Take Two, thus gaining Exclusivity to the GTA Series.

Sony has a great line-up for this year but they need to make sure they keep the games they have and try to get more. If they fail this Microsoft will most probably pull way to far ahead by the end of this year and Wii sales will follow because the thing is selling like crazy. So need to before the end of this fiscal year.

The difference between the Price conversions of both the 360 and PS3 are large. The 360 gets a $125 sum added, but $235 is a bigger deal, especially when added to an already expensive Console.279.99/549.706= .50934...
