Castlevania: SotN - Crashes Onto XBLA! Today.

Dracula's ethereal castle, Castlevania, has officially materialized on Xbox Live Arcade. Of course, we speak of the oft cited pinnacle of the Castlevania series, Symphony of the Night. The game will set you back 800 points and will cost you a few extra seconds than most XBLA games, thanks to its 90 MB size. There are also some other goodies available should you have any points left, including a 150 point theme and a 100 point picture pack. By the time you're done you might as well slap a Konami logo right onto your Xbox.

So, who's getting their Castlevania on?

I've always enjoyed Castlevania games, it's an extremely amazing series. Anyway, has anyone purchased it yet? There's most likely a few added features, any form of a Leaderboard? Anyway, when I get my 360 back downloading this is the first thing I do!

I'll probably pick it up, I enjoyed the series.

Yeah there are leaderboards. Like how fast people got to a point in the game kind of thing. As for added features, I can't really think of any other then "Enhanced graphics" option.

I MIGHT try it out, I've wanted to play it a little ever since I heard about Castle Wolfenstein and got the two mixed up.

A great game for sure, I still own the original for the Playstation, and it is still one of my more prized games (right alongside MGS).
