...i really wana get the net so i can play Xbox live...but i was wondering...are there any internet providers that dont require a phone line?

like say i have a house phone # but i want my internet to be on a seperate line...can i purchase the net without purchasing a seperate line?

ADSL runs off of the same phone line you make calls on but doesn't disconnect you like 56k did as it uses a different frequency to transmit data through the line. As posted above, if you want a seperate line then cable is the way.

Satelite, Go satelite.

Pros: You can connect to the interweb :P

Cons : It sucks lagwise, and it is insanly expensive

But like i said , go satelite! :P
