sony needs to start working on their games/playstation store instead of all this other useless crap that im never gonna use, and an update to directly install Linux to the Ps3 would help instead of having to burn it all yourself.

That wasn't a joke....

by the way, the PS3 F@H is awesome! Shows a dark 3D earth and lights where PS3's are turned on. The graphics are a lot better and it allows you to open up the browser to view team statistics and whatnot while folding.

this isn't anywhere near major, most of this is just stupid extra stuff.

a MAJOR update, is adding 1080p support, a new dashboard, webcam support stuff like that, which xbox live does.

UT3 is on xbox 360 too.

haha...oh big wow...backgrounds and keyboards...they need to start putting out games....which they are...namco and sony formed a new company to only produce PS3 games....which is sad...since xbox keeps stealing their games...

microsoft is raping sony in my eyes

That was there from day 1. This was to mostly fix the multi-tasking issue, people were bitchin about.

I think it'd be wise to wait a few years before investing in a PS3 for reasons like this...

I thought that using your ps3 to fight cancer thing was a rumor. But you actually can. How does that work? Does it use your internet connection whenever you put the ps3 on?

It doesn't work as a background thing. You either have to choose to run it or set it so that it runs when your PS3 is idle.

They actually partially fixed with version 1.30. It is supposed to be "fully" fixed by version 2.0.

Lol @ crying Xbots. Sony isn't investing all of their time on firmware updates. Not to mention they have multiple teams working on different aspects of the console.
