Alright, in two days me and my friends are traveling throughout Europe. Although we are traveling around most of the day, we figure that at night we will get bored so we should probably bring a n64. My question is if the video input on tvs in Europe are any different than the ones in the US. I already know that over there they have a different power outlet and thats taken care of, but I'm not really sure about the video input plug-ins.
So yea...any info would be nice.

I don't think so... People import consoles and dvd/vcr's from other places and I'm quite sure it's the same about everywhere...

An n64? Seriously unless they have an NTSC (North American) t.v. wherever you are staying you will not be able to use it do to the different resolutions of the PAL format. That's why they have portable gaming devices to bypass this obstacle. I'd say your better off using a computer and more questionable methods if you are really intent on playing n64.

Ha, your gonna struggle to keep your sanity intact once you realise how "hardout" the net cafes in europe are, especially the ones in Italy and Spain.
With the guy at the front counter telling me how blazingly fast their computers ran, only to find out using dxdiag that their running socket 478 Celeron 2.66 GHz with 512 ram and the latest videocard....a Gforce 5200. (yeah really fast!) :dunce:
Plus everyone at the net cafe I went to in Spain sucked crabby horse balls at Counter-Strike, I got banned after 2 round because i won a 5v1 twice in a row without getting shoot more than twice per round on cs_aztec, cause thats "cheating".:p
Im not saying that all Italian and Spanish gamers are crap, im just saying that you wont find the net cafes to be, up to U.S or NZ standards, thats all.
But other than that, the sights were amazing, Pompei was super-awesome, so was the colluseum and The Vatican, plus all the other great landmarks.
Spain IMO was better, especially Barcelona with all the Gaudi architecture and the big museums.
Don't forget to go to Montserrat (www.visitmontserrat.com/) which is an 1 hour or so by train from Barcelona. And try to get an all-day all-expenses paid ticket from the ticket shop in Catalunya Square, it might seem steep in price at first but then you realise how much is actually included (bus, train, cable car, entrance to everything, lunch, and return tickets), its not bad.
What else, oh thats right, Rome is a dump, people drive like their the fucking law and act like those red yellow and green things on stop lights don't actually mean anything. Watch out for pickpocketers and people selling counterfit stuff.
And I could go on for another 3 and 1/2 pages, but I'll leave it at that.
Try to enjoy yourself and the sights around you, and I also recommend if your eating out to have a look at the local dine-ins as you can get ALOT without paying much. (In Barcelona it was 2 euro for the best souvlaki I had ever had in my life).
And if anyone if wondering, my latest trip to Europe and Dubai was 4 months ago, I've also been to Malta, France, Romania and Holland on other trips.
Dubai's another story, if your intersted to know how it is, just ask, and I'll be more than glad to tell you how awesome it is.
