did i tell you the story from a car shop where i worked many years ago?

anyway. here's the deal:

a wife borrowed her husbands car. the husband asked her to go buy oil and window cleaner fluid. those two things. pretty simple.

but! the wife decided she could just add those two components, instead of just buying them and bringing them home. some of you might already see where this is leading...?

she naturally poured the oil into the window cleaners container, and the window cleaner into the engine... well played, madam.

turns out it was a very rainy and muddy day. so she was driving happily with interesting additives in her oil, until suddenly a car passed her leading to mud and other crap to come flying on her window. simple problem, just spray some cleaner onto that, and turn on your wipers. only problem was that cleaner = oil, which turned her windshield to a oil-coated crap-layer which wasn't removable with wipers.
so, as she didn't see anything, she did the only smart thing you could do. trying to minimize losses, she just turned off the road onto a field. that's where the towing truck found her.

they towed her to the shop, where i got to hear this whole story. i had to struggle really hard not to just laugh insanely...
