I reserved a copy for $5.00 at Gamestop a couple of months ago. And then forgot about it (the reservation and the game)... and now Gamestop is calling me to come pick it up.
A couple of months ago I was looking for a new spark in automobile racing after years of non-stop GT4, and thought Test Drive Unlimited would be the logical next step. Now that time is here, I'm questioning dropping $50.00 for it. Is it anything like it's PS3/Xbox successors?
Do you get to... actually drive the cars in a 1st person mode revealing all the interior graphics? Do you get to supe up your cars and modify them to the extent GT4 allows you to? Is the car selection big and universal? And how about the exterior modifications? Is there any FPS lag? Any long loading times? A gay story mode? Unrealistic racing? Do they have 200hp Civics hanging with 700hp GTO's (absolutely hated Underground 2)?
You know... I'm still kind of looking for something new. But after unlocking a lot of bad ass cars in GT4, my search/lust isn't as immediate. But I'm still pretty interested. I just need to know if its the right move.
