Saw it last night. Anyone else seen it? I don't think that it was promoted/hyped that much.
Well anyways its a movie for sniper fans (not the movie 'sniper', but sniper fans in general). Its about a ex-marine who was recruited by a nameless agency (i think) that was supposed to assess a possible sniper situation when the president gives a public speaking. Mark Walberg comes in because he is the best sniper and he helps this agency show if he was going to snipe the president, where he would shoot. (The agency had a tip that there was going to be a sniping). Well anyways (spoiler alert kinda, white text) he helps this agency out, scoping out possible positiions for sniping in the three cities the president speaks in, and Walberg gets framed for attempting to shoot the president (there was a shot fired, it just hit someone two feet to the left of the president), and it is pretty much a nationwide man-hunt from there. Has a Rambo feel to it.
Mark Walberg was pretty convincing as an actor and the shootings were pretty kickass. The only thing I disliked about the movie was the fact that it had some cheap political jabs in it. If you watched the movie you'd know what I was talking about.
