My mothers Trailblazer needed new tires on the front. The toe was off, and she had wear on the outter tread on both sides. She brought it in, and they said they had to order new tires, and they'd be in tomorrow. She comes back the next day (Friday) and they say "you know, your rear tires are dry rotted, you should replace all 4" so she agrees, and now they have to order different tires all together. They get them from another store though, so they were going to be in that day. What they did was pretty much hook her for 4 new, 220 dollar tires. They threw in the wheel alignment for free. The catch was, they do a thrust line check for an extra 40 bucks (I've always included that in an alignment.........). I saw the slip, it was about a grand for everything. I brought the car in later in the day for the tires, so I could tell them that there was no rear end play, and nothing's moved, so the thrust line should be just dandy, no need to check it. They handed me a line of bullshit about how it's policy, and yadda yadda. I wasn't gonna make too big of a stink over it because they already got my mothers money, and she signed the paper, so it's said and done.

Ok, 2 hours of waiting, they finally pull the car around to the front. I get in it, and the first thing I notice is...you should all know this...the number one reason customers bring a car back after an alignment, the steering wheel was not centered.

I look at the alignment sheet, and naturally the only adjustment out was the toe. From the looks, they adjusted one side until they were in range, and called it a day. My guess is, they didn't lock the steering wheel either.

I've got a concert to be to in a couple hours, so I can't have them fix it that day. I get home, give them a call, tell them they suck, and they say bring it in monday. My mother brought it by today, and they tell her they can't fix the problem because her balljoints, and tie rod ends are bad.

I get on the horn with them, and I said "you shoulda caught all that before your pre-alignment inspection" and the manager says they had a new guy working on it, so he overlooked it..

Overlooked it? How about a lawsuit? Your technicians are sending dangerous vehicles out onto the roads. Now you're refusing to fix YOUR overlooked problem. They're out of their minds. I'm going in there tomorrow and tearing them a new one. I'll walk away with free front end work, guaranteed.

MAKE THEM PAY DAMN IT!!!!!!!! FUCK THEM IN THE ASS WITH A SANDPAPER DILDO! Damn it that pisses me off. These people deserve some severe...something...for treating people the way they do. How would they feel if say...the mortgage broker called them into the office and sat them down and tells them that their policy is invalid now for some reason or another and that they must refinance...raising the interest rate by 2% and tacking on a $5000 refinance fee LOL HUH HOW WOULD THEY FEEL?!!!! DAAMN ASS BASTARDS. They did this to my aunt too, she's probly spent over $15,000 on repairs to $3000 vehicles! And it still drives like a $3000 vehicle that's been run through a rally section.
