View Full Version : Is Dodge poor quality
Hey I have a friend who insists that Dodge makes really shitty vehicles, and that Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge cars are all of terrible quality. Well, I drive a 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T, with over 100,000 miles and there are no problems whatsoever, and also, how could the company stay in business if what he says is true...anyway, Im just wondering what other people think, I don't really know anything about cars, other than they get me from A to B. Thanks

They stay in business because they own Exxon Mobil. They use their synergy to maintain their spotlight in the car industry. They also steal secrets out of China about motors, suspension, and electrical, so that explains why they have such horrible quality. They say their cars are made in the USA, but really they ship most of them over from China to Alaska and have them trucked down the dangerous Alaskan Highway. Most people don't really know about this type of shit, but thank god for eBaum's World to provide us with the truth, the full truth, and nothing but...the truth.
You better get outta DODGE! Before it's too late...
Really though, watch out for their 2.7L V6s.

What makes an Ultradrive transmission an "Ultradrive" exactly?
You heard two things, OE...silly...The DaimlerChrysler 2.7L OHC V6s SUCK BIG DONKEY ASS, run from them if you can.

What makes an Ultradrive transmission an "Ultradrive" exactly?Any transmission based on the original A604 design is an Ultradrive. Kinda like most GM FWD transmissions are TH125 derived.

Didge Viper is about the only respectable car they make. only because it's fucking fast, but it still feels disposable in the inside.
They also make the gayest cars on earth. The good old, NEON.

GAY!? The Neon carried Chrysler through the 90s and beyond....kinda like how the Mustang saved Ford, but in a more subtle way.
Neons, while stock, are pretty lame yes I'll give you that. But they have so much damn potential to be potent cars that it's not even funny. The chassis is very stiff and lightweight, the suspension is ready to be uprated with springs and struts...then the car is ready to attack, make no mistake about it. The 420A has a lot of potential and enough torque potential to turn it into whatever you want it to be.

If a single mother who has no knowledge of cars for the first time in her life has the opprutunity to buy a new car and she buys a Neon. Would you laugh at her?

That's not something an enthusiast would say. I just felt like telling you.Sounds like something a classic car enthusiast would say, I think most new cars suck, but Neons are the anti-enthusiast car.
