Yea well today I gave in, my friends brother inlaw has been bothering me for months about my wrecked 05 R1. He's been wanting it for awhile. But he's been trying to trade me his Nice 72 Chevy for my wrecked bike and my 92 chevy truck. That clearly wasn't going to happen.
Well today he Came by the house and talked to my dad and we made a deal. My wrecked R1 for his Truck. :D This is a very nice truck. Interior is great I didn't get any pics of the interior or the engine today.
What shocks me is that he put a 350 Iroc engine in this thing with a chip and blah blah blah Its basically a steal. Heres a few pics of it and my wrecked bike. Its still needs about $3,000 to fix and he knows this. And yes the bike still purrs like a kitten.
Monday we will trade over the titles.:bigwink: What do you all think about this?

That truck has potential, when they are done right they are beautiful. It just needs to be brought out of the '90s.

Yeah I don't really like the White paintjob. Maybe new paint and umm whatelse? Suggestions? I plan on getting the gas cap covered whenever i get it painted. Its useless now. I don't plan on doing too much "customizing" to this truck. It runs great! Better than my 89 Camaro iroc. Though not faster.

Yeah I dont really like the White paintjob. Maybe new paint and umm whatelse? Suggestions?Ditch the wheels for something like a Torque Thrust, get some nice chrome bumpers, change to an earlier grill and lower it for a start. Then shave the side marker lights, ditch the tonneau cover and do a nice hardwood bed. Then decide on paint, I would go dark.
Also, get the gas tank out of the cab, put it under the bed where it belongs.

Yea the gas tank is in the bed though, only reason why the bed cover is on there. Do you have a picture of the wheels your talking about? And for a paintjob I was thinking maybe a 2tone. I'm planning way too far ahead. I'm just excited for some reason. The interior is red (not my fav color) but it still looks good.

you made out pretty good, that looks like a solid C-10, i was going to say exactly what elliott said, to the word, weird.
its hard to find those trucks in decent shape and it is definatly not a beater vehicle, that truck has tons of potential.

those guys have a lot of parts for it.
the torque thrust wheels are pretty exspensive, they run over $1000 after tires are included, if you dont want to spend that much i think the C-10 would look nice on some old chevy rally wheels, and those are easy and cheap to get.

like the wheels on that corvette.

Those Corvette wheels are 5 on 4.75 and wouldn't fit. I know places like Stockton make them with a 5 on 5 pattern, but they would be more expensive than a swap meet set of GM wheels.
The only 5 on 5 Rally wheel I know of made by GM is kinda ugly. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/300935156.html
I really like Torque Thrusts and want them on my car, but someone gave me a very nice set of Magnum 500s so I'll run them when I go to 5 lug, too bad the Polyglass tires on them are useless.
