*NEW* Kart Racing Dynamic Physics Engine

I'm not into racing games much, unless they're ultra-realistic like the Grand Turismo series, but this is the first flash kart racing game that I've fallen in love with.

Arena Kart 2: Ultimate Kart Racing Simulation (http://www.foreverflash.com/ArenaKart2.html).

Best upgrade I've been able to get is racing tires and clutch upgrades. Those provide better control in the corners and acceleration. Any other tips from you veterans of racing games?

holy crap this is the best flash game ever. after like the third race in story mode he offers lowrider competitions, the mods on the cars are so damn cool

some dude called "Dorado" (in a ford explorer) beat me second round :P

What kind of transmission did you guys get after the qualifying rounds? I got the GTR and it's got horrible acceleration.

I can't get the final steering upgrade...I have 4/5 medals on the Difficult track set so it won't let me buy...the Arena's the one I keep losing on. That chicane at the end is FUCKING ME OVER. *throws keyboard*

This game has been loading for more than EIGHT HOURS!!!! What gives? It seems like it's loading new stuff constantly. Is this normal?

Have you gotten the final engine upgrade with the 3rd turbo stage? That seemed to even out the steering a bit, made it harder to steer again.

The rest of the races were easy (from a GT pro :) )

EXCEPT: the rally races that unlock after you finish the main storyline are fucking impossible. I am lucky if I finish in 3rd place in just the first of four bonus races. Are there any shortcuts in these tracks or did they make these last races just to piss me off? :banghead: :banghead:

Try downgrading your steering to the 4th level, switching to the AWD transmission (unlocked by completing the 3rd circuit by getting 1st in every race), and switch the racing slicks out for offroad tires (unlocked by completing the 2nd circuit by getting 1st in every race). For some reason, its harder with the final steering upgrade.

And is it just me, or does the higher level spoilers (and other aerodynamic upgrades) have absolutely no apparent effect?

They dont do much in the circuit races, but you'll notice a huge difference in the rally races.

The loading menu has bad graphics, but there are really nice graphics (for a net flash) in the game. The driving is way more complicated than RC Pro-Am and it is a lot of fun if you are a game/car fan.

^^I'm not sure about the size of the game, but it takes a long ass time to load. I'm on an OC3 and I waited forever...then I played it...then I forgot to sleep that night.
