Well, I finally got XBOX Live for my XBOX 360. With my shitty luck, I have a wireless connection instead of a wired connection, so my download and connecting speeds are A LOT slower. I'm trying to download a map pack with only 2 maps in it for Halo 2, it has been about 20 minutes and the download is just about 1/8 done. This is such bullshit. Well, I just had to vent and complain. Carry on.

Well then get a wired connection and stop bitching. I have a wireless router set up and use my PS3 with it just fine. I don't find it to be much slower than my desktop's wired connection.

Why did you get Xbox Live knowing you only had a wireless connection?

Unless its a fucking Super Router, there's no point in wireless, unless its a laptop for looking at interwebs. ;)

err ...

If you have a internet connection that is faster than your wireless connection. you have eather

a) a fucking amazing internet connection

b) the worst router in the world

I have a wireless connection for my 30 and it works just fine. For those 2 halo maps took me about 3 mins. I have a 24 GHz router with speed booster. (linksys) Just invest in a good router and your good to go.

I have a wireless connection and don't have any complaints. If you don't like the download speeds then I suggest wired connection or a new router.

halo 2 fucking sucks anyway.

QFT halo1 was far better online

ps. I have my 360 hooked through my mobos lanport and I never get any lag apart from the odd person with a bad connection whos car goes crazy but it's only ever 1 person so it's not my line :) (upto 8meg broadband but usually runs between 4mb-6mb)

my average ping on online games is 40 I have actually had a 0 ping and a 2 ping before (running on port 7777)

Why did you get Xbox Live knowing you only had a wireless connection?

I use a wireless connection for LIVE, just as fast as the rest of my house hardlined connections.

Try downloading Shivering Isles for Oblivion. Then check back in a month. It'll be almost done.
