Prometheus is also good, but it's a lot more proggy and is basically Ihsahn's solo project

avoid IX Equilibrium. all you need from that album is Garm's remix of Sworn

Inno a Satana is kind of similar to I am the Black Wizards.... just buy ITNE though.

The whole In the Nightside Eclipse albums more or less sounds the same throughout.

Yeah, for years i listened to the Wrath of the tyrant version of IATBW, then recently i found the ITNE version and decided that i love that version too. Then the "emperial live" version just doubled that, such a kickass live performance.

Anthems is the only CD by them I've heard, even though I'm not a huge fan of black metal they're one of the few bands I listen to. It may be because the vocals seem super quiet on a few songs.
