1. Phish-Everything from their studio albums, to their live stuff is just simply amazing. It's impossible to comprehend how they jam so well, and it makes you wonder if they are tripping on LSD when they are playing(sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not, either way they fucking are insane)
2. Oysterhead-Even if they only have one album, its an AMAZING album. The best Supergroup in my opinion. Trey Anastasio, Les Claypool, and Stuart Copeland. Favorite songs are Amry's On Ecstasy, Mr. Oysterhead, and Psuedo Suicide.
3. The Black Keys-A two person blues based garage rock band. Simply amazing the amount of sound they can make with just two people. Thickfreakness is by far their best album, but Magic Potion is superb as well. I highly reccomend you check these two guys out, they fucking bring it.

1. The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Everyone of their songs is just awesome. Stadium Arcadium, which I thought was going to suck, turned out to be their best album yet. I can't get enough of them.
2. Rage Against The Machine - Its the Guitar Parts and the Energy. Listen to 'Born of a Broken Man' if you want to get pumped.
3. Jay-Z - Not a 'band' but still on my Top 3. The Black Album kicks ass. I'll put it on in iTunes and play some video games or something, its good stuff.

1. Motorhead - been listening to the 'Head a lot recently, and they still kick arse after more than 30 years. Replacing a lot of old Motorhead vinyl onto CD & mp3. Favourite album of the moment - Bastards.
2. Rush - perennial favourites, and their new album is winging its way to me right now, so I'm pretty sure that I'll be listening to that on repeat for a while.
3. Amon Amarth - just love these guys.

Metallica - Their older albums were amazing, but they can still rock. They are just so influential in rock. Cliff Burton was a musical genious and James Hetfield is one of the best rhythm guitarists in metal history.
Rush - I haven't been into them for too long, but what can I say? I love a great bassist. Their music is just so different than everything else.

I'm not whereismymind, but I'm a friend of his from da real world. I frequent other forums and he invited me to this place after he got permanently banned from this place. Said this place is in desperate need of a real nigga to stir shit up since his departure. We have a similar taste in music also, whenever we talk about music it's like we're jerking each others dicks. So that's probably why you think I'm him.

They are fantastic. DOn't worry they aren't emo or anything or else I wouuldn't be listening to them. They have some of the best lyrics I have heard in a long long time. Combine that with good musicians and some horns and you got a great fucking band.
