Some game information

Eternal Sonata (トラスティベル ショパンの夢, Torasuti Beru Shopan no Yume?, Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream) is an original RPG created by tri-Crescendo, the developers of Baten Kaitos and Baten Kaitos Origins.

The story takes place in a dream world which centers around the piano composer Frédéric Chopin, who died at the age of 39 due to tuberculosis. The plot centers around the concept that three hours prior to his death, Chopin dreamed of a fairy-tale land, in which people with incurable diseases have great magical powers.

In the dream world, Chopin meets a young girl named Polka, who lives in the Village of Tenuto. Polka also has a terminal disease, and her boyfriend Allegretto is searching for ways to convert her magical power into a cure.

Eternal Sonata will feature a battle system centered around musical elements and character-unique special attacks, though actual details of battles are still forthcoming. Light and darkness will play a part in the appearance and abilities of enemies on the battlefield, as well as the types of magic that can be cast[1].

The game will not only feature a selection of Chopin's compositions played by the pianist Stanislav Bunin, but will also feature additional in-game music composed by Motoi Sakuraba.

The game is slated for a June 14, 2007 release in Japan under the title Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream and a 2007 release in North America, but no EU release has yet been announced.

The style of this game makes it look amazing. It's and RPG based around Music and has Muscial Scores, Influence and Writing Directions from the famous composer 'Frédéric Chopin'.

The battle system looks great aswell, sort of Tales of Symphonia meets a turn based alternative.

Set for a summer release aswell, june for the japs.

It sounds pretty awesome. I hope the battle system is as interactive as Baten Kaitos's is.
After the original Xbox and it's lack of interesting RPGs, this is a nice change of pace.

Well I'm really impressed since I previously owned Baiten Kaitos on the NGC. Looks like a really good RPG on the Xbox 360 besides Fable 2.

Hmm. I'm not really into to Japanese RPGs but at least Microsoft is trying to eppeal to other gamers.

And whats the deal with Stargate Worlds? Why the the blue balls did they change it to an MMO. What the fuck is their problem?

I want to shoot up Jaffa, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee for it dammit.

And I pray that Lionhead dosent fuck up Fable 2 like they did to Black and White 2. Seriously if they do that then Fable 2 will be horrible because Black and White kicked Fables's ass and the second one was frosted shit on a pike.

I know, they had a game that was in production probably 5 years ago that was scrapped, now the MMO thing just doesn't appeal to me. :( Plus, I doubt very many people who play MMOG's are going to quit their current game, WoW to come play stargate.
