Naw Call Of Duty is known for the ambiance of gun fire, foot steps, going on all round you. Not to mention the ballistics are way better than that of Battlefied 2 because Call of Duty is confined to a smaller space than BF2.

Sorry for the bump but I figured I'd just post here rather than create a new thread...
I just read an article on COD4 in the latest Game Informer... I think it's shaping up to be some damn good shizzit. It'll be on the PS3, 360, and PC, and Infinity Ward claim to be going back to the COD1 roots.
GI claimed that it has the most photo-realistic graphics we've yet seen in a game, and from the screenshots they had in the article, I really wouldn't disagree. Infinity Ward also claims that the game will never ever drop below 60 frames per second on the PS3 and 360.
The story is made-up, with some guy taking over Russia, and starting up a huge coup in the Middle-East to distract the Western powers while he does his thing. The weapons are all from what we have today, and supposedly the Middle-Eastern army is formidable enough to fight the West head-on, so it won't be like Iraq or Afghanistan today...
They're going for fun+realism, which I really like... (Realistic but not as hardcore as Flashpoint or ArmA) If you've got a big enough gun, it'll shoot through walls and whatnot... And multiplayer is supposed to have a lot of RPG elements, so I'm pretty pumped.
COD4 > Halo 3

If they don't bring back the big machine guns with the bipods, I'm going to be furious. I was the shit back in Cod:UO with these things. Pistol whip a couple bitches, run into a house (sicily FTW), set up in a windowsill facing a whole bunch of enemies, and let the pwnage begin. Seriously, I was unstoppable as British on sicily with the pistol/machine gun combo.
