This is a video showing the maps that will be playable in the Halo 3 beta. This video shows tactical ideas as well as a layout of the maps by the people over at 1up.com.

Very good video explaining the Beta maps from first hand expierences.

Shitsticks. I need to go buy Halo 3 BETA Invite (Includes Crackdown).

Halo's like 7 months away now and I'm dying to get my hands on it. The video shows people who played the Pirates at Sea Demo that sent XBL! Vets fucking nuts trying to figure out what the hell it was until they noticed Bungie Staff had also played it, in other words it was an ALPHA Test. They gave some great info, all from personnal experience on how good/fun the maps were and how changes to the wepons roster made Halo better and finally some personal knowledge and player secrets on how to win in the BETA.

Bastard fuck. I need in.

lol the beta only lasts a limited time so if your only buying crackdown for halo3 your gonna be fucked a few months later when it disables itself

Crackdown was worth buying on it's own. :)

I know, I was only playing. Climbing that Tower in the Demo was fucking awesome, I actually felt Aerophobic once I was halfway up and looked down, mostly from the fact it took me 15 minutes to get so far up it.

I can do it in a few minutes now (level4)

first time I tried it it took me ages (level1) it was like the leap of faith but I never once fell :) at times I was like this looks shady as fuck

I got stuck at a part where I had to jump off the small fence grab onto a small beam then jump out to avoid the next platform then push back in to grab the ledge

now it's so easy it's not even a challenge
I can do it under a minute if I use the suv car
