the picture looks better the HDMI cables

the color isnt really BLACK more of a dark gray...

the 120 gig HDD comes only as 109 gigs....since they fill it with videos and demos...but none of them are good...

It's fun as hell, I expected something like Spyro, that repetitive gameplay crap with the odd puzzle, but Kameo was a blast. If you go for all of the Elemtal Fruits (Also Skins and other stuff to collect) you're looking a 30-45 Hours Gameplay which is a bonus aswell, not only because of time but Maxing out Thermite, that little fucker owns.

Defianatly worth it.

Anyway, I wish they would release the fucking Elite over here soon, I really damn want one.

I much prefer the white units, the black doesn't look right with the texture of the plastic. I have not seen the actual elite 360 yet, but the black components look old fashioned.

I point this out because this pricetag is exactly what so many Xbox fanboys bitched and made fun of the PS3 for. Hypocracy ftw!

I can't figure out why the PS3 guys insist that we all are out buying the HD-DVD add on. 99% of Xbox 360 people have NOT purchased the add on, nor are we likely to.

When I want HD movies I just download them on my regular 360, it's stupid to invest in such a pointless technology (that includes blue ray) where we don't know which one will win, where the movies cost 40 bucks, and that probably won't even last. (downloads will win the format war)

Future proofing is only absolute if I buy a PS3? Games set the future of the Console and the PS3 has none :lol:. Only playing.

I don't need the HD-DVD Add-On to watch HD Movies on my 360, I'll be buying Series and Movies over XBL! later this year, even if I mainly want the HDMI for games, the reason I purchased my 360.

Finally, I'm British, most games here cost £40 and I've picked up a few for £15. My Sig adds up ;).

Get the VGA cable for the 360. :idea: VGA is nearly identicle to component, better in some regards (support reasons)

lol i got my elite like 2 days ago and the black finish doesnt really look black...its more of a dark ash gray...if it was black like the original xbox it might look better...but there is an indeed difference in HDMI and components, i have a 50 dlp rear proj Tv and i can tell the difference...now they just have to start making 1080p games....since my tv is a true hdtv 1080p...im just hoping fight night 4 is gona be in 1080p

as of the new line of elites with the new processing chip...i plan on buying that when it comes out..JUST cuz i have the money to get one =P

It's 100% true that component/VGA can support 1080p, the only issue is that some TV's aren't setup to receive the signal. (that's an issue with your TV maker IMO) Until there is enough 1080p content out there nobody is missing anything.
