need some help: is it real or just a fan fic.?

so i came across a PDF of the the author's manuscript to the 7th harry potter book, and i was wondering if anybody knew of any real way to determine if it is indeed the leaked and true file or if its just a piece of fan fiction elaborately written. can anyone offer any help?
