Which browser and anti virus program are you using? Also, if you can tell us which popup is causing it, we can fix it.

I just got that pop up a few minutes ago while attempting to look at an old thread. A thread that was a little over a year old. Sorry I don't remember what the pop-up was.
I'm runnung:
XP Pro
IE 7
No Anti Virus. Meh who needs it.
I'll make sure if it happens again to take notes.

yeah, there is another 3 page thread where Mr B himself contributed. Apparantly its adBrite. I was using adBrite on one of my sites and I got the same popup so I just stopped using adBrite and the problem went away!

:banghead: Hey guys,
No doubt one of your ads on your home page is causing this so you may want to look into it.
When I go to your home page I get instantly redirected (not a popup) to drivecleaner.com or some shit. At the same I get an alert from my symantic anti-virus that either one of your ads or the drivercleaner site tried to install a virus or malware onto my PC (probably malware but who knows).
Here are the details from symantec:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-062217-0726-99&tabid=3
I'd really like to watch some videos but I keep getting redirected, and no a popup blocker will not help in this instance since it is a redirect not a popup.
Thanks,
Oxygenthief

Yea i get that to... it looks like your pc and starting doing a fake virus scan - gets more realistic everytime i see it. This pop up resizes your internet screen and quickly closes down eBaumsworld its very annoying! If it helps i last got this popup when watching a featured video than returing to the main home page.

I was having the same problems, infact I posted something back in March concerning the same issue. And even months before that, I was having a few problems out of the main page.
I have several computers, and all of them ended up with infections. Needless to say, I haven't been back to the main page since then.

Hmm, I have a MacBook running Safari. I seem to be having no problems.

This may be risky, but try to take pictures when it redirects you.
It can help eBaum get to the bottom of it quicker.
you dont have much running a mac do you
