ok, folks. I come here to bear my all time record for pearl before Swine 3. Considering Pearls Before Swine 1 & 2 are both insanely easy, I decided to have a go at this one.

First, Pearls 3 can be played HERE (http://www.transience.com.au/pearl3.html). Second, I'd like to state that this record had total irrelivance to the score, I just wanted to see what level I could get to. I got to level 20, you can view the screenshot HERE (http://members.lycos.co.uk/sinderwhack/pearlsalltimerecord.JPG). (I could probably do better, but I'm tired at the moment so I'll try later)

Try letting him go first, it's easier to figure out and win that way.

What are your tricks?

Well, there aren't really many tricks, especially when you get to the 6th row.

Although I can tell you that the first move usually defines who's going to win right away. In Pearls 1, the only way you can win is by taking away 2 pearls from the top row as your first move. In Pearls 2, there are only 2 starting moves that can guarintee you a win: taking away the entire second row, or leaving only 2 pearls on the bottom row. The reason why the guy doesn't do this when he goes first is to make it fair.

About a 5 days ago, I met this game and nasty Joan made me do this.
I made a helper program to pearl3 and beat lvl 38.
After about lvl 31, things just repeat.
It does not progress to 8 columns.
After endless crushing downs of Joan, I searched web and found this forum.

Since, I am not so sure that I can spoil the game with this program
by distributing it over the web, I am looking for an email address of
transcience.

To prove that I made the helper I will show some of unbeatable combinations.
0, 6, 10, 14, 18, 21, 24, 29,
0, 5, 8, 12, 16, 19, 25, 27,
0, 4, 5, 6, 13, 14, 19, 23,
0, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 11, 15,

If you are the person who expected a satisfactory ending of killing Joan
by stuffing pearls into his mouth, there is no such thing like that.

Ok guys, im ganna let out a little secret its really simple. All you have to do it just open up another window for this game. when you have 2 windows you let him go first, what ever he does, do it on the other window. This way you are making the computer play him self and you can always win. Really its that simple if you wanna get super far lvls.

That worked for the first and second, but not for the third. In the third all the games are different.

Grrr, I hate that game with a passion. I can never win. Ever.

I always feel dumb for an hour after I play that stupid game.
