Yeah, I have been anticipating its release ever since I left the theatres from seeing The Matrix. I read in an article that this sequel costs over 2 times as much to make than the first. I also read that the third matrix "Revolution" is going to have a 45 minute long battle scene between the old machines, the new machines and the city of Zion. I am so glad that someone made a thread for this. For some reason I never thought about it. Everytime I listen to wake up - ratm I get excited to see the next Matrix's. The Wichowski brothers, being the great directors that they are, knew that the fans wouldn't tolerate another long and dreadful wait for the 3rd movie so they decided to release Revoltion just 6 1\2 months from now. I think I speak for the majority of kickass movie lovers that The Matrix is the best story and action movie out there.

ive searched and found some reviews from critics that have already seen it, some say its just as good as the first, others say it is better. if u do go see in theaters, you HAVE to wait till the credits are over. at the very end of the credits (which r like 8 minutes, so u have enough time to hit the bathroom and come back) you can see the very first full trailer for the next matrix.

as for the game, im not so sure. they started making it right around the time when the matrix came out, so all the technolgoy and graphics are as old as it was when they started making it. the graphics may suck compared to wut some games have now, (unless they are taking so dam long to put it out because they r updating them) but who cares bout graphics.

I don't think it will live up to the hype (sequels to great movies rarely do), but I do believe it will be a good movie. It has taken a bit too long for it to come out, which isn't a great sign, but, we'll know for sure in 2 weeks.

The Matrix video game...I have serious doubts about that...most video games made from movies almost always suck (exception for me is goldeneye). The developers just by the license and put in a shitty effort becuase they know the name will sell itself...and if its true the game has been in production since around the release of the first one, thats not a good sign at all.

Yeah. The fourth one just came out. Really cool clips. They really add to the whole understanding of the Matrix and how things came to be. They explain graphically the revolutions and such. You should all see them.

Also the video game is due in mid May. I think the same week as the movie comes out. I've got tickets for the midnight showing already.

PS about the timeshare thingy....me and my parents were waiting to check into our hotel when we took vaca in Daytona and we were pulled into one of those timeshare meetings. Afterwards they did offer us a week stay in the condo for free..plus all these incentives that I don't remember. But my parents didn't take it. They said there was too much signing that was to take place and they weren't about to sign on a contract to tie them to the timeshare..

Wow. It's been about 25 mins since I walked out of the theatre from seeing Reloaded. See it. The trailor after the credits for Revolutions wasn't very informative but it made me start anticipating Revolutions even more. See the movie.

The Matrix was about 50 percent stunning and 50 percent mediocre. The action/fight scenes were all spectacular and highly entertaining but many moments of the movie were too slow, predictable and drawn out.

It was extremely predictable.

For example, when they shoot at him he's obviously going to stop the bullets by raising his hand.

Also, when they fight him, it'd the same old Jazz. They punch and he blocks super fast; nothing new. And on top of that they do it every 5 minutes and stretch it out for at least 8 minutes per scene. I kept thinking "Lose already, damn it."
