I just saw this movie, and I have to say that it sucked. The movie is directed by Skip Woods and was released on DVD but there are very few copies of it and are expensive.
The movie is about a former to drug dealer turn suburbanite, Casey Wells (Thomas Jane). His old ex-partner Nick (Aaron Eckhart) pays a visit and leaves his suitcase of heroin behind. He then runs off to do some errands. Casey then discovers the drugs and calls Nick to tell him to come back and get his drugs out of the house. He says later and through out the day people come by to take the drugs away and kill Casey because he has them.
Basically the movie is "What if Jimmie from Pulp Fiction had a movie about him".
This movie really just tries to channel the spirit of Tarantino and fails to realize that without people giving a crap about their characters, no one cares of their fate. It really tries to go for that violent and gritty Tarantino stuff but that's all the appeal it has.
Among the many scenes is a rape scene involving some chick raping Casey. Yeah you heard right.
I said earlier that the movies characters are not interesting. That's still true but I will say the character of a reformed drug dealer trying to salvage his life is hard not to care about. I do root for him but I really couldn't care if he died.It doesn't matter apparently since you know he wont give a shit about trying to get his life back with the "shocking" ending.
Ultimately, I give this movie a 4/10.
