How do you remove music from recordings for soundboards because we just need the talking.

I would guess a music editing program, but I have no experiance with them, so im not sure.

How do you remove music from recordings for soundboards because we just need the talking.Not an easy thing to do, dude. There's certainly no magical way to make the background music simply disappear. Careful application of various filters and EQ may produce reasonable results but you do need to have a certain amount of knowledge in this area to work them well.

So, if I were you I'd try to avoid clips with background noise. However if this isn't possible then yes as MANTITS (geez, what a name!) said you'll need an audio editing program of some description. Soundforge and Cool Edit are both popular choices. They are advanced applications but the layout is simple enough for beginners to grasp the basics reasonably quickly.

My friend has a soundboard that he just got that allows him to do that, but it was like $200, and unless you have that I don't know how to.
