Who needs a plot when there so much ass kicking potential? You know jet li is going to solo like 40 people at once, and you know Jason Statham is going to get into an epic car chase followed by a gun battle. Hopefully they don't fuck this one up

Actually, Statham was in The One with Jet Li also. Crappy movie, don't watch it. The thing is, that was before the success of the Transporter films and his career took off so he was stuck playing the underused role of sidekick (again, crappy movie), whereas now he's just as big of an action star as Li is.
Personally, if he plays his cards right I think he could be the biggest action star since Arnold.

Oh and yeah, I agree. I have no idea what the hell the story for this movie is and I couldn't care less.

He had good parts in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, loved both of those movies

this one counts because statham has a proper role.
