Creating a Folder, help

Alright well im creating a new folder, and i want to make it passworded, and so that the icon is hidden, by hidden i mean its invisible on my desktop. Anyone know how to do this?

You can't password protect folders in XP unless you have a third party application. However, you can put the folder in a zip file and put a password on the file.
