Red Orchestra is a kickass game. I was addicted to it until someone jacked my Steam account. I didn't really like the maps with big open fields, but the infantry maps with tanks and personnel carriers are some of the best experiences you can have in online gaming.

I got it during a free weekend and loved it, but never had the motivation to buy it for some reason. Great game.

I've always been interested, but for some reason never bought it... I absolutely love realistic shooters, and the epic battles... Is it still worth buying? Do lots of people still play? I just feel like it's been quite a while since it was released, so I can't decide if it's still worth it.

not all that many people play (it's getting harder and harder to find a good server).

Your joking right? Whenever I go on theres like 10 servers that are filled up. Sad part is they always play "Danzig" which is a shit map.

There are usually about 6-7 32 man servers that are full every night. Red Orchestra is well worth buying. It takes a little getting used to because there are no crosshairs, and you actually have to account for bullet drop when shooting over long distances, but these realistic features are what makes the game shine.

There's no better feeling than calling artillery down on a group of enemies and watching bodies fly in the air. I think one of the reasons that I like this game so much is that you actually must work as a team to have any success. For example, there is one map called TulaOutskirts. The Russians must hold a series of points that includes a hill with 3 bunkers, a forest, and their main base. You have to work as a team to resupply the machine gunner, and mow down the Germans as they try to overtake the position. I think the most fun map is SnowyForest though.

God, I wish my Steam Account didn't get jacked.

I get constantly pwned by people in that game, it's immersive and realistic, but fun? I don't know.

Well I bought it last night... I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me. finding a server isn't difficult at all, and it takes a lot of teamwork and patience, which I like.
